The Awakening Body 

Dear Friends,

Chris and Alex are both highly trained body-based therapists and teachers who have been sharing this powerful work for over 7 years. 

Each workshop follows a similar structure, but no two experiences are ever the same, every participant discovers something fresh, alive, and deeply personal for them.  

We begin with a short introduction, followed by bioenergetic practices designed to open the body. These practices, a unique combination of specific stretches and deep, open-mouth breathing, help release tension and allow us to access deeper layers of feeling and experience.

With the body more open and energy flowing, Chris then guides us into the heart of the work: awakening our felt sense. From this place, we explore not only what is moving through the body, but also what lies beyond it - beyond the self we usually identify with. 

Because if we truly want freedom from what holds us back, we must go deeper than the familiar. We must step into new realms of experience that show us what we are beneath the pain, the habits, and the old stories.
