Revealing Presence
Embodied Awakening & Somatic Inquiry with Judith
What if awakening is not something to attain, but a deepening intimacy with the body, emotions, the present moment, and one another? This workshop explores awakening as a lived, embodied experience - an invitation to come home to what is here, meeting each moment with greater presence and allowing ourselves to feel without losing connection. We will explore how, in response to trauma and conditioning, emotions can become suppressed and held within the body. What cannot be fully felt or expressed may continue to surface as tension, numbness, triggers, compulsive thinking, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or patterns of avoidance and disconnection.
Â
Through presence, guided somatic meditation and emotional inquiry, the workshop offers a space to gently reconnect with sensation, feeling, need, desire, and creative impulse. Rather than analysing or trying to change what arises, we learn to meet the body’s protective patterns with curiosity and kindness, allowing what has been held back to gradually soften and move. As emotional repression begins to unwind, there can be a greater sense of freedom, authenticity, and trust in the body - creating more space to feel deeply, express what is true, respond rather than react, and experience a more intimate relationship with oneself, life and with others.
Â
You’ll be invited to:
- Rest in being and explore nondual awareness
• Understand how emotional repression shapes experience
• Learn somatic tools to meet conditioned patterns
• Build capacity to stay with inner experience
• Gently access and unwind deeper emotional material
Â
My approach:
- Awareness – grounding in present-moment experience
• Somatic preparation – developing capacity to stay with sensation, thought and emotion
• The Root – meeting and releasing stored emotional patterns
Â
This is not about fixing yourself. It’s about becoming more available to life - to feel, to express, and to trust what is already moving within you.
Â
This introductory workshop offers practical somatic inquiry tools for beginning to work with emotional repression in the body. It provides an opportunity to explore how emotions and protective patterns can become held in the body, and to develop greater awareness, presence, and capacity to meet what is arising with curiosity and compassion.
Because deeper layers of conditioning often require more advanced tools and a sustained container over time, a six-week course will begin in November for those who wish to take the work further. The course will offer a deeper exploration of somatic emotional repression within an ongoing, supportive container.
