This 6-week immersive programme is for men experiencing anxiety, a restless nervous system, or fear-related challenges such as OCD, panic, or ongoing stress.
I experienced intense fear and anxiety through my teens and 20s. There were moments of despair, frustration, and loneliness—but even then, I held onto hope. Looking back, those experiences gently led me toward healing — and a way of living I hadn't imagined was possible.
This programme is for you if you feel stuck in over-activation and spinning thoughts, are longing for deep rest, and want to reconnect with a calmer, more grounded way of being.
It is a body-based programme held in person in Stroud, combining meditation, somatic therapy, and nervous system exercises. Instead of just thinking about change, you'll be experiencing it in your body — inviting a sense of ease, peace, and quiet strength.
Each week we'll meet together in person, and you'll also receive video lessons and guided meditation downloads to support your practice between sessions. Together, we'll help your thoughts calm down, your nervous system settle and your anxiety ease.

Your Mentor
Chris West MA
Chris holds a Masters Degree in psychology with Mindfulness-based approaches, and has studied with some of the world's most well-renowned and gifted embodiment and spiritual teachers.
He combines both Western psychological understandings with Eastern practices of meditation and self enquiry to bring about lasting internal transformation.
Chris has been teaching anxiety transformation online and in-person workshops and courses since 2017 and has helped hundreds of people both one-one and in group settings step into a much more peaceful, embodied and empowered way of being.
He is also qualified in BBTRS, a method of trauma therapy using the breath, movement, and conscious emotional expression to release trauma and old emotional tensions from the body and mind.
Chris is also a keen musician, and when he isn't meditating or working you will often find him singing and creating music with his guitar in hand. He also enjoys climbing, playing tennis, walking his dogs, dancing, watching movies and performing comedy.

Here’s what you’ll receive in the ‘Anxiety Recovery For Men’ program:
1. 6 Weeks In-Person Training with Chris West
Over 6 weeks, Chris will guide you and a small group of men through a series of sessions designed to support your journey of easing anxiety and stepping into a deeper sense of peace and presence.
Each week, you'll come together in person in Stroud, creating space for connection, reflection, and shared healing. Every session offers practical guidance, somatic exercises, and meditations to help you reconnect with your body, soothe your nervous system, and nurture a lasting sense of calm and clarity.
2. Weekly Video Lessons
Each week, you'll receive a pre-recorded video lesson from Chris to watch in your own time. These check-ins are designed to deepen your understanding of the work, offer fresh insight, and help you gently carry each week's teachings into your everyday life—so the healing doesn't stop when the class ends.
3. Downloadable Guided Meditations
Each week you'll also receive a downloadable guided meditation to return to whenever you need it. Crafted to soothe a restless nervous system and quiet an overactive mind, these recordings offer a sanctuary of stillness you can come back to again and again—whether that's first thing in the morning, during a difficult moment, or as you drift off to sleep.

Wow. What a journey... This course and what it has taught me in the last three months has been one of the most important and rewarding things to ever happen to me. I didn’t know what to expect from the course and was a little unsure at first but I counted myself lucky that I joined and tried my best to make every session and most of all be present and listen.

Hi Chris,
Things are going really well since the course. I got some really good results back and passed with a 2:1 for my second year. I’ve had my last session for now with my therapist too and all my trauma is clear for the first time and life’s going to be really good for me.
I’m hopeful now and just feel a lot more at ease with the world, and though there may still be worries at times, I’m able to see myself as separate from them and don’t see them as me anymore and identify them with the self - I just see them as parts now that may be worried or scared at times and that’s okay too as I know it’s just a part of me.
I’m also able to tell people how I feel more in situations that would worry me previously, such as when I would be worried about mini confrontations type scenarios that aren’t confrontations as such but that I would previously shy away from out of fear and worry. And it’s okay and I’ve realised that I can have these conversations with neutral emotions and in a way that I don’t need to worry about them.
I’m also getting on really well with my Dad now which is amazing and feel really comfortable around him for the first time maybe ever (or at least it feels this way).
I’m just full of love again and excited for this next and probably last year of my life as a student.
I don’t have any shame anymore either and I know I’m a really good person and that I’m really intelligent too which is a really nice place to be. I’m also happy that I’m unique and I truly love myself now too.
